On Monday, Chicago's Mud Queens wanted a change of pace.

The tough ladies known for bringing the pain in pools of mud decided to bloody things up for Halloween--and it was awesome.

Set to a live musical soundtrack provided by Cooler By the Lake and Scotia Widows, the ladies pummeled one another while soaked in red goo--in honor of Halloween, of course.

A portion of the event's proceeds were donated to women's charities, including the Young Women's Empowerment Project and the Chicago Women's Health Center. Learn more about the Mud Queens here.

Mud Queens fan (and Archie's bartender extraordinaire) Pete Del Re was there on Monday, and shared some of his photos.
