The Los Angeles Lakers kicked off their win over the Houston Rockets in their season opener Tuesday night with ceremony where they were presented with their championship rings from last season. Before the players were announced, Lakers public address announcer Lawrence Tanter introduced the assistant coaches, trainers and other personnel.

After announcing special assistant coach Craig Hodges, Tanter was supposed to announce another assistant coach, Rasheed Hazzard. However, Hazzard was skipped and Tanter called out Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's name. Scroll down to watch the awkward video.
