Red Cross Fights Cholera With Phones

Cell phone users in the heart of Haiti's cholera outbreak are receiving prevention tips via text message.

A NPR report reveals that the Red Cross is employing mobile technology to spread messages to more than 70,000 people in the next week. Authorities are also using the devices to track members of the community migrating from the center of the outbreak in the Artibonite region to other parts of the island.
