Carl Paladino Walks Off Live Interview (VIDEO)

WATCH: Carl Paladino WALKS OFF Live Interview

Tea Party-backed GOP candidate for New York Governor Carl Paladino doesn't take guff from anybody. Just ask Kristin Carlson, a reporter for WCAX in northern New York and Vermont who was recently left to interview a blank frame for asking him the wrong question.

Carlson, a three-time Edward R. Murrow Award recipient according to her profile, questioned the GOP hopeful Monday about recent statements he made referring to New York's junior senator, Kirsten Gillibrand, as Sen. Chuck Shumer's (D-N.Y.) "little girl," and in return got Paladino to walk off the interview.

"Do you think that's a sexist comment to make, do you have any regrets about that?" Carlson asked Paladino about the matter.

"No, I don't. I was referring to the fact that Ms. Gillibrand seems to vote exactly as Mr. Schumer directs her to, she doesn't show any mind of her own in voting," Paladino explained. "Are we gonna talk issues or am I leaving you right now?"

"Well, I think this is about issues, sir. I think some say that some of the comments you made say that you're not capable of running this state," Carlson pressed.

"I think we're done talking to this lady," Paladino said, removing his microphone and leaving the frame.
