OXFORD TWP. -- An area college student was killed and another injured Friday night in a single-car crash on Shadowy Hills Road which borders the Miami University campus.
Miami freshman Stephen S. Fenstemaker, 19, of Canton, the driver of a red Toyota MR2, was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, Gregory Marchand, 19, of Massillon, was transported to McCullough Hyde Memorial Hospital for treatment of a concussion. He is a freshman at Wright State University and was visiting Fenstemaker for the weekend, according to Oxford Twp. Police Chief Michael Goins.
