Fair Game

'Fair Game,' the Doug Liman-directed thriller based on Valerie Plame's memoir, is out Friday and The Huffington Post has an exclusive clip.

Naomi Watts stars as outed CIA agent Valerie Plame and Sean Penn plays her husband Joseph Wilson. In the clip below, Plame meets with CIA Deputy Director Jim Pavitt (played by Bruce McGill), who tells her not to make noise about the leak of her identity in spite of the death threats her family is receiving.

Everyone should see her in Mulholland Dr., 21 Grams, Funny Game, King Kong, The Painted Veil, Mother and Child. Even The Ring, Eastern Promises, You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger...are impressive....check them out.

Wow, how many films has Watts been in with Sean Penn!?

I hope this is an Oscar nominated worthy performance. Naomi has really paid her dues. Love to see her get recognition.

Love Naomi Watts, and this story needs to be seen by all Americans. Yes I will go see and take my 16 year old daughter as well.

Yeah. This country really needs to see a movie that weeps big, viscous tears over a Central Intelligence Agency Operative.

If any other administration had done this, you'd be applauding at least the notion that a CIA agent had been exposed as such. The only difference is I'd still be applauding it, regardless of who lowered the hammer on her.

Vice-President Cheney and henchmen should have been charged with 1) Treason 2) Espionage against the United States 3) the attempted murder of Valerie Plame. That they were not is testament to the fact that we don't have a conscience anymore as a nation.

Good actress but you never come off with a lasting impression of any role that she's done. Will be interesting to see how this plays.

i think she is great, she was haunting in funny games, so great and so believable, lots a problems with her relationship with liev schreiber, she gets all the roles; not to say he isn't great as well.

Now that the Republicans will have power to start trials and hearings over useless topics, will the democrats play timid with the oil barons like they did with Plame? Where is our hearing, our right to a trial? Barak and the people are powerless until we declare war on the oil barons, seize their assets and turn every dollar of oil energy into green energy.

A film all Americans should see to understand the sedition of the Bush administration.
Watts is a dead ringer for Plame.

Sedition? Why not call them 'Subversives', 'fellow travelers', pinkos and reds; why not resurrect the whole lexicon of the anti-Communist witch-hunts of the late 40s and mid 50s.
