Is there a study on children whose parents stayed together but should not have done so? I know a LOT of families like that, mine included, and there was also depression involved in that.

Being married isn't the end-all, be-all, nor is getting divorced the end of the world. All statistics need to be taken into account - mental status of the parents in both cases, socio-economics... Studies like this are so one-sided and it gives the false impression that being married and raising children is the only way to fly. But the number of married parents who are damaging their children because of their abusive and dysfunctional relationships is not any better at all.

Great look on STATISTICS.

We take 2 blonde Americans
2 blondes, 2 Americans---------->1:1 ratio of blonde/American
Therefore All Americans are blondes, correct???
;) I love One-sided "studies"
