Matador Splits Trousers During Bullfight In Colombia (VIDEO)

Colombian matador Alvaro Marin experienced a wardrobe malfunction while marking the Day of the Dead with a celebratory bullfight earlier this week.

After being knocked to the ground by the bull, Marin realized he'd ripped the seat of his trousers, revealing a glimpse of his bare buttocks. The impromptu striptease garnered catcalls and cheers from amused spectators.

Though the announcer requested a spare pair of pants from the audience, Marin opted -- for better or for worse -- to complete the fight with a cloth tied around his waist.

Two things here. First, it's inconclusive that the bull caused the rip. It could have been a bad taco. Second, after watching the matador's performance, I wouldn't let him diaper MY kid.

I did not watch the video, I couldn't. I just came to this thread to say that I am ashamed that in the 21st century, this kind of cruelty is still "entertainment". I don't believe in conditional compassion. Once we have a culture that is compassionate to all living, feeling creatures, we will have compassion for each other.
