Sarah Palin Grapples With Gillespie, Says Calls For GOP Caution Are 'Out Of Touch' (VIDEO)

Sarah Palin urged Republicans to throw caution to the wind in the aftermath of Tuesday's midterm elections, calling GOP strategist Ed Gillespie's suggestion that party leaders take a "serious" and careful approach to their likely new mandate "out of touch."

On Tuesday morning, Gillespie advised Republicans not to pursue exhaustive initiatives such as a complete repeal of the health care overhaul, but rather hone their ambitions on the law's most contentious aspects. Palin, however, seemed to think that this was an awful idea, and painted impending Republican victories as a referendum on a piece of legislation that nobody wanted in the first place.

"No, no, no, see how out of touch even a comment, an idea like that is? No, what Americans are saying is, Obamacare, for instance, the mother of all unfunded mandates -- we didn't want it to start with, we knew we couldn't afford it. Nobody ever would explain how in the world we were gonna pay for this $3 trillion boondoggle when there are better, more sensible reforms for health care that, of course can be provided the problem and we can find some solutions that way," Palin said on Laura Ingraham's radio show Tuesday afternoon. "But instead no, now people are talking about already, 'well, let's just compromise on some of it, and some provisions can be repealed or reformed.' No! Repeal the whole thing, replace it with market based, free-market based, patient-centered reform that Republicans tried to get Obama to listen to."

Palin continued with a degree of animus that has underscored her recent and ongoing feud with establishment Republicans.

"Anyone in the GOP who thinks they can cut a little deal here, there with Obama or Pelosi, to maybe raise taxes -- tax here, or -- they're going to find themselves without a job in 2012. We gotta remind these folks in the next couple of years: we put you in, we can take you out, and that's the other message of this election," Palin said. "We the people, we're gonna be in control and we're not sheep and they can't railroad us anymore, and, you know, we are their bosses. And the GOP has to understand that -- the machine has to understand that -- we're not sending Republicans, commonsense conservatives, to Washington to sing Kumbaya with Obama, we're sending them to stop Obama."

Republicans, you created this woman with your deluded thought that if nominated as Vice President on the ticket that women would flock to your party to vote for you because of a woman on the ticket. You were wrong, but you had no idea at the time just what you unleashed on your party. This woman has no plans to go anywhere, and in case you don't have the sense to realize it, she sees herself as the new  Read More...

In the eyes of many conservatives, Palin has already overplayed her hand, but she is just to dumb to realize it yet. When it finally dawns on her that she can't do as she pleases (or as her mood dictates from one day to the next), and that she has lost the respect of many people who sympathized with her, it will be too late, and she will be relegated to the role of "political analyst" in Fox. I hope.

Republicans thought this lady was going to help McCain get elected, damn is she wasn't qualified. Well, it pleases me to see that she is the republican's own punishment for their lack of judgement.

Sarah's way or the highway! This woman thinks this country can only move forward with hate and no compromise, all politics are not black and white. Palin hasn't the finesse or intelligence to deal with other people. Sarah probably always got her way growing up, America and Alaska does not accept her for her word, we can't trust her. She will throw her name in the ring for 2012, she will play the victim while spewing hate at everyone and claiming the lamestream media is lying about her. She'll be hocking her self all for her big head, this round I don't think America will be so kind.....thin skinned Sarah better brush up on that hunt'n and fish'n in the boonies........she'll need a place to hide

Palin is not in touch with herself, with America and with humanity. Her tunnel vision, dogmatic approach and intransigence are serious liabilities for the GOP.

Me thinks that Sarah's head is getting way too big for her ***. The higher she tries to fly, the quicker her waxen wings will melt...

My prediction is that Sarah Palin will soon be marginalized by the Republican Party. With the elections of Nikki Haley and Susanna Martinez as Governors of South Carolina and New Mexico respectively they have two women with more intelligence, less ego, who both are better team players than Ms. Palin, and who are actually governing something. On the 15 minute clock, she is at 14 minutes and 55 seconds.

The Republicans realize that Ms. Palin is too willing to throw everyone and anyone under the bus to advance her own ambitions. She is a Party of One.

It's not racist to first know the facts regarding who has crippled our economy! The republican party of NO is more concerned with enabling the corporations to continue their outsourcing our jobs and investing in foreign companies and providing them huge tax incentives when these same corporations are posting Billion dollar quarterly profits while our own economy is declining! Since the question of patriotism is in question show the sane people what is so patriotic about making million dollar salaries and taking million dollar bonuses? While the rest of the public are out of work and losing their homes! Does any of you mindless Zombies that voted for the corruption and greed really believe that these lying clowns are going to address your concerns first? Well you all got another thing coming cause they first have to repay the same corporations that paid for their office! So in two years Sanity will be back in the House! Just wait and see! Know your facts! Read fools!

Sadly, she's likely to be immortal - her mental processes are so slow, brain death will be impossible.

She's in a whole new class: an diffusive oxygen pirate. Her thin skin makes oxygen update through her skull even easier. She may in fact be an insect.
