'Bridalplasty' Trailer: Extreme Plastic Surgery & Dream Wedding Competition (VIDEO)

First Posted: 11/04/2010 7:32 pm Updated: 05/25/2011 6:10 pm

"Bridalplasty," E!'s new series that combines weddings and plastic surgery, now has a trailer and an airdate (mark your iCals: it's November 28 at 9 p.m.).

Touted as "the only reality TV show where the winner gets cut," on each episode, a group of brides-to-be will compete in wedding-themed challenges like writing vows and planning honeymoons to be awarded different cosmetic surgeries. The week's winner gets her procedure done and the results are shown at the beginning of the following week's episode. Then, one-by-one the women are voted off of the show by their competitors and the last bride will receive her dream wedding and unveil her new look.

Check out the trailer and tell us what you think.

Quick Poll

Will you tune in?

YES! YES! YES!

Yes, but I will lie and say I haven't seen it.

Heck no.

Wretched. Vile. Base. How about a reality show about a future groom having his genitals enlarged.

I'll watch it in slow motion backed by ambient noise recorded in a slaughterhouse, while touching myself and shouting, "That's it, cut yourself! Cut yourself! I wanna see you cut yourself!"

I don't quite get it. They aren't going through the makeover to "get a guy" since they are already engaged and found someone who wants to marry them as is. And if they really wanted surgery, would they not have done so on their own? Is this just to get on TV?

oh, joy! the most despicable concept for a reality show I've seen yet!

I'm going to have to block "E" on my tv. No way do I want my daughter to see this.

OMG this is gross. More media trash to emphasis a woman can never be or look good enough.

If you have to do all this to get married then maybe just maybe there is still some soul searching you need to do. Geesh and I thought my make up was an illusion.

Wow...maybe a show could be developed where women (and men) develop their character or intellect. This aspect of society is getting so old. Sigh.

Agreed. Sadly this appears to be what viewers will watch.

I agree. I read the news most of the time. My television is usually tuned to History or Discovery...or Cartoon Network!

I don't even have to look at the trailer to know this is a show I would never watch. The concept is appalling.

I can't believe anyone would want their name associated with that show. Truly disgusting. Everyone remember that show The Swan? I bet those women's lives aren't any better and they aren't any happier with all that cosmetic surgery. I hope it gets cancelled after one episode.

And the host(ess), a former beauty queen, seemed to be doing so well for herself when involved in bar brawls with Paris Hilton.

I'd rather watch a slow moving cold front on the weather channel
