As writers, readers and all around bibliophiles, the HuffPost Books community, including us, can't get enough of the schadenfreude of grammar mistakes.

Every time we post a slide show of new Grammar Pet Peeves, we hear from you in massive waves, bringing ever more notice of favorite blunders that we just love to hate.

So, here are seven more that really annoy all of us and thank you for pointing them out. (Of course when we make mistakes--and we do--please be gentle!)

The Thing Is ...

Pet Peeve: "The thing is, is that ..."

Huffington Post reader Remendado reported the so-called double is, which has become an irritating redundancy in language.

Correct: "The thing is that you only need to say 'is' once."
