Obama Trip To India 2010: India Prepares For Visit (PHOTOS)

President Obama's highly-anticipated, four-day visit to India doesn't kick off until Saturday, but the country has already been abuzz with preparations for weeks.

Roads have been fixed, security (and monkey-protecting) towers have been constructed and schoolchildren have been hard at work in school, creating class projects in honor of the president's first visit to the nation. A makeshift itinerary for the Obamas has also emerged, full of diplomatic meetings, memorial visits and state dinners.

The international media will likely play close attention to Obama's overall reception in India, and for good reason. Here, he reportedly faces the unusual challenge of living up to the enormous popularity of his predecessor George W. Bush, who nurtured a strong relationship with India during his presidency.
