Michelle Obama Elegant Upon Arrival In India (PHOTOS)

First Lady Michelle Obama arrived at Chattrapati Shivaji International airport in Mumbai, India on Saturday morning, and she stepped out of Air Force One in an entirely new ensemble -- a long-sleeved, button down dress made from a marble-like fabric, a three-strand pearl necklace and metallic kitten heels.

I love seeing them in India. Going to India after Obama's big political losses was a brilliant move. As to Michelle's fashion, it reminds me of Jackie Kennedy. I am glad skirts are now longer & hers were below the knee.India is a fascinating country, considered an interracial mix. Their reverence for animals & tolerance of "sacred cows", Ganisha the elephant, and tolerating having monkeys around is amazing. Let's know more about India!

I wonder what Michelle thinks about her husbands betrayal of the foreclosure crisis ?

Maybe she's too busy to even think about the 4,500,000 families displaced from their homes since January 2009.

and I guess she and "her husband" are at fault? Did the foreclosure debacle occur on January 20, 2009? Was it President Obama's policies that cause my aunt to lose her home last December? I don't think so. Think before you spread venom, the policies set for the past 8 years for banks by the Republican party is at fault. You, the banks, Republicans and my aunt all want this thing fixed with a band-aid. It cannot be done, so suck it up. Sorry for those who lost their homes but who buys a $500K house on a $80K salary with a $20K deposit, 3 kids and expect to be able to pay the mortgage let alone keep it?

And who gets bailed out with trillions of dollars over-night at 0% interest when they wreck the economy? The banks of course. And the overwhelming number of people who lost their homes did so because they LOST THEIR EMPLOYMENT DUE TO THE VERY PEOPLE WHO WRECKED THE ECONOMY AND GOT BAILED OUT OVER-NIGHT WITH TRILLIONS IN TAXPAYER DOLLARS AT 0% INTEREST. You "suck it up", get your facts straight and stop blaming homeowners. Big bankers could not afford to take the risks they took and when their schemes fell through no one foreclosed on them or put them on the unemployment lines.

I love the dress. It's very traditional and elegant. I like the hair pulled back but I think she looks best with her hair down. When she wears it down it frames her face and is more flattering.

If all fails, Michelle Obama could have a secured job modeling for upscale fashion outfits. And that, at least, would bring a decent income for the family. And Barack could be free to hang out and negotiate with the Republicans all he wants, all day long, and expect no results whatsoever!

How is this in any way related to your inability to pay for your wife's hair cut. My guess is that if you can't pay for your wife's hair cut, you do not pay taxes which was true for 50% of all Americans in 2009.
