***UPDATE 11/9*** Driscoll quarterback Jason Gaza and coach John De Los Santos spoke with CNN this morning about their now famous trick play. Gaza admitted that he "didn't think it was going to work at all." Turns out it worked perfectly.
In the middle of Driscoll Middle School's football game over the weekend in Corpus Christi, Texas, the quarterback pulled off an incredible trick play and scored a touchdown. The center handed the quarterback the ball and he began slowly walking forward. Because the center handed the ball over, the defense didn't think the play had started. After he got behind the defensive line, the quarterback started to sprint towards the end zone and scored a touchdown. Scroll down to watch the play.
