Michelle Obama Shines At State Dinner In India (PHOTOS)

President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle headed to Rashtrapati Bhavan, or President's Palace in New Delhi, for a state dinner on Monday night and Michelle stunned in a silver, floor-length, "Dune Velvet" skirt by Rachel Roy. She paired the eye-catching number with a "Sable Moroccan Tunic" also by the same designer and an embellished belt.

God Help this poor woman.
Constantly under scrutiny.
Too formal...too casual...not hip enough, too hip....

If I had to worry about what I was wearing every 2 hours, I would go nuts.
Personally, I think she rocks most when she's doing her own thing.
And i really don't remember the style world having fits about Babs Bush, or Laura...so why bring down the hammer on Michelle?

Her hair style is perfection. The colors are good on her... the fabrics are beautiful, but the style is yet another unflattering ensemble. Where are the fashion advisers and truth tellers for this poor woman? Somebody needs to stop sucking up to her and tell her the truth and give her some figure flattering advice and wardrobe. At least she isn't wearing one of the "Boob Belts". Shame.

Now, this looks really great and very appropriate. This is the first time I've seen photos of Michelle with hair done nicely, made-up and dressed like a FLOTUS should. The dress does a great job of accentuating her best feature, which is her height. The long line makes her look taller and thinner and the waist being lower on her body than her natural waist makes her look more balanced (she's very short-waisted and the low bosom accentuates that). She looks almost pleased here, but a little uncomfortable. She seems to have her knees bent, perhaps to not look taller than everyone else. Her poor posture is very unattractive, and so unhealthy. If she would stand up straight, it would make her whole body look leaner and more fit.
