10 Most & Least Attractive Cities In America (PHOTOS)

First Posted: 11/08/10 12:35 PM ET   Updated: 09/19/11 10:37 PM ET

Travel & Leisure released their superlatives list of best food, best culture and friendliest people in America. The list that always catches our eye, however, is the most and least attractive people.

Here are the cities that made the cut for both most attractive and (ouch) least attractive cities in America.

No WAY should Honolulu be so far down on the list of "attractives"......really, subtract the tourists, and you're left with the most beautiful people on earth.....locals grown and raised in the spirit of Aloha!!

charleston hands down has the most attractive people. 100% accurate, maybe you should take a visit

I'm cracking up at how all the ugly people are crowing about how their city didn't make the list....

Why are people so surprised that LA was left of the attractive list? You all need to quit watching TV and visit LA for yourself before you judge. Just go to any mall or grocery store and you will see how unattractive most of the populace is. Of course, you'll find beautiful people in the clubs/restaurants, but that goes for every other city. Don't believe the hype about LA - seriously.

Philadelphia is NOT that unattractive - there are some pretty places. And besides - it's 100% Democrat. We are all on welfare - we don't have money for foolish luxuries like making ourselves pretty.

Huffington Post needs to do some correction here. They picked this story up from somewhere else and THIS IS NOT ABOUT THE PEOPLE IN THESE CITIES!!! This is about the appearance of the actually cities- it's buildings, streets, skylines, etc. It is very misleading to portray as a story about people.

Actually . . . it is about the attractiveness of the people. It's one the categories the cities get judged on.

I didn't stick around to see if San Diegans were attractive.
That city was boring as *-*-*.

By *ugly* do they include traits of narcissism, elitism, entitlement, and the crudeness of those who put this story up, or who care about its conclusions?
Our society is a degenerate, divided, angry, and self-adsorbed bunch of people that need some humility and compassion. (my apologies to those individuals who do not fit the profile).
Give me one of those back-water places where people are poor, generous, and not as clever as the editors of "travel & liesure".
BTW, Travel & Liesure took down the page that summarized the "attractive" portion of the survey.

Any state with a walmart has some ugly people in it. Just sit outside and watch people walk in.
