President Obama may sit by a fireside in his weekly YouTube videos, but they haven't exactly caught fire.

...

The most-viewed video, his very first weekly address on Jan. 24, 2009, has been seen more than 1.2 million times. But viewership has since decreased steadily.

Since May of last year, no video has had more than 100,000 views and most have been closer to 20,000, numbers far below the millions of his campaign videos. 

Some presidential watchers wonder if the time for the weekly radio address has passed.

It is a shame. Obama attempts to reach out to Americans in a thoughtful, rational and intelligent way, but they'd rather watch Dancing with the Stars and The Kardashians.

Obama ... Shmobama.

Exit polls show that the 4,500,000 families foreclosed on since January 2009 ... voted overwhelmingly against Barack Obama's Democratic Party.

With an unresolved foreclosure crisis ... you should expect an even larger voter backlash in 2012 !

All This Fighting Between Republicans And Democrats Is And Has Hurt The American Dream For Millions Of Americans They Act So Immature So Unprofessional A Bunch Of Special Ed Students Could Do A Better Job! There Should Be A Over Haul Of Congress Clean House This Same Old same Old Business As Usual Hurts The American People Not The Politicians, This Has To Stop The Republicans Have Made It Clear To The President They Will Not Work With The President Because They Are Praying For A One Term President So Each Time He Extends His Hand He'll Draw Back A Knob! I am a big supporter but even I do not watch him all the time. I think he sometimes have a weak demeanor and this can at time be a little bit of a turn off. I am hoping all this "reconciliation" talk is front from a strategy because the GOP has no interest in working with him. I think he will even lose the base next election if he does not get his act together. I am still one of his biggest fans, for now.

I'd heard about weekly addresses but didn't know where they were played. I'd wondered, but not enough to look them up.
