'The Influencers' Of Pop Culture On Beautiful/Decay (VIDEO)

Artists aren't often eager to talk about how they get their inspiration. Maybe it comes from mistrusting the press or wanting to preserve trade secrets, or maybe they just spend less time thinking analytically than their questioners expect. Bob Dylan, for example, once brushed off an interviewer by saying, "If I wasn't Bob Dylan, I'd probably think that Bob Dylan has a lot of answers myself."
The subjects in this video, however, approach art from without. The marketers, brand managers and commentators in 'The Influencers' are confident that we're getting ever closer to cracking the genome of an idea. It's interesting viewing, even if only to help in choosing which side you're on.
