Not suprised about the South: live there and more than likely, especially if you are AA, you will be poor, sick, with bad education and die early.

Um... for those of us who don't have all of the congressional districts memorized (save our own) it would have been nice to give some clue about which part of the state each represents!

Like, it would be totally great for those of us who haven't memorized our congressional district number if you could just tell us the name of town or area mentioned in the article. I'm interested, but not enough to google all those numbers to find out whether or not I live there.

Sigh. I'm guessing that means you haven't voted recently.

er... um... seriously? Do you really have all of the numbers memorized? I vote religiously, I volunteer, canvass, caucus... and I can tell you my own district numbers (national, state and city) I can also name all of the representatives and their party affiliations... but to memorize all of the numbers?!? You must either have lots of time on your hand or some amazing memory capabilities!
