Rush Limbaugh: 'Racist' Democrats Trying To Push James Clyburn 'To The Back Of The Bus'

Rush Limbaugh James Clyburn

Rush Limbaugh dedicated a portion of his radio program Thursday to attacking alleged "racist Democrats" in a segment chock-full of thinly-veiled racial references itself.

The discussion centered around the ongoing competition between Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) and Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-S.C.) for the House minority whip leadership position.

The situation has put Democrats in a difficult spot. Hoyer is currently the House Democratic leader, but Pelosi is seeking the position for 2011, when she is no longer Speaker of the House. Consequently, Hoyer has his eyes on the whip job, which Clyburn currently holds. With Hoyer in a position to possibly knock the highest ranking African American House Democrat out of a leadership spot, Limbaugh pounced.

Perhaps sensing a potential powder keg, Limbaugh took the opportunity to toss some sparks Thursday, using his own incendiary words to reinforce his case that Democrats are approaching this situation with racial malice.

Here's how Limbaugh broke down what he called the "Steny Hoyer and Clyburn, Hoyer wanting Clyburn to go back to the back of the bus, leadership battle."

"So there you have it. All hell breaking loose in the Democrat Party because now black and brown people [are saying], 'Tonight we on the inside, we wanna get in there,'" Limbaugh said. "The white racist leadership of the Democrat Party is trying to ace out Clyburn."

Limbaugh continued:

Clyburn has had power, but they want to take it away from him here. Tavis Smiley is not down with this. Clyburn starts to demand respect and all hell seems to break loose in the Democrat Party. Hey, I have a suggestion. You know, I like to mediate these things. I like to bring people together. I like to unify people. I don't like seeing this kind of strife. Clyburn's worried about not having the car. Clyburn's worried about not having the perk of a big office, driver, and so forth. The way this can all be worked out, Clyburn's new position: Driving Miss Nancy. He gets to keep the car. He gets to go everywhere she goes, parties and everything else. He's not in the back of the bus. He's in the driver's seat, and she's in the back of the car being chauffeured. Solved problem.

Here's the deal with Rush Limbaugh...

In 1934, We, the People of the United States of America, voluntarily gave up our right to broadcast any signal at any strength, frequency, or direction we might wish. With the establishment of the FCC, we actually made it a Federal crime to do so. In exchange for this obvious diminution of our rights, WE empowered the FCC to regulate broadcasters "in the public interest" (see: http://www.fcc.gov/mb/audio/decdoc/public_and_broadcasting.pdf )and to put an end to the "transmitter wars" of the late 20's and early 30's.

We may find Rush Limbaugh a bloviating, race-baiting, tool, but we are legally prohibited from interfering with any of the hundreds of ClearChannel Communications or Premiere Radio Network stations carrying his filth over OUR AIRWAVES daily. However...

WE RETAINED THE RIGHT TO COMPLAIN to the FCC in such numbers and with such outrage, that they are compelled, BY LAW, to investigate a licensee with the possibility of revoking that broadcasters license. Exercise YOUR RIGHT to COMPLAIN that Limbaugh's verbal dreck is expressly designed to divide and CONQUER US; not to serve US. Contact http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm TODAY to register YOUR complaint about YOUR airwaves being used, to paraphrase Kipling, "...by knaves to make a trap for fools".

The day after President Obama won his election, a distraught old woman called in to Limbaugh's show saying "Oh Rush, I don't know what I am going to do." Rush replies "You can turn to God." Her reply "You (Rush) and God are all I have now."

I don't know who would be more distressed, the old woman after Obama's election or me the day after Sarah Palin gets elected President. What do I do? call Keith Olbermann and tell him he and God are all I have?

Most of us have rascist tendency's, but for a man who has on numerous occasions used rascist rederick on his "show" to call anyone else a rascist, is both telling and ridiculous. Rush must be running out of BS to sell, so now he is some sort of watchdog on rascism. Give us all a break

Ok I spelled a few words wrong, but that doesnt change the facts, that Rush is a frickin hypocrate, I remember him saying that we should send all drug addicts out to a deserted Island, like the leppers, BEFORE he was outed for addiction to "hillbilly heroin"(telling isnt it) and him buying it from his Mexican housekeeper. Or maybe I should mention how Glenn Beck told his "followers" that America has the worst healthcare in the world(after an operation) and yet just months later, miraculously, It was the best in the world. But hey you keep on listening to those self described "clowns" who couldnt handle a secondary education. I may not always spell words properly, but at least I can tell when someones full of it, obviously you cant

You want to guess what he will say if Mr. Clyburn gets in front of Steny Hoyer?
Just like what he said regarding that black football player. Predictable.

Either 1) He knows this strategy well because of the crescendo in RNC to oust Michael Steele; or 2) He is trying to boost morale for his AA Tea Party counterparts.
