Baby Sea Lion Born In Australia's Adelaide Zoo (VIDEO)

Posted: Updated:

Adelaide Zoo received a real Halloween treat this year! According to the non-profit group Zoos South Australia, a baby sea lion was born on Halloween in the Australian zoo.

Unfortunately, the newborn's mother did not accept the pup, acting aggressively towards the baby sea lion. Zookeepers permanently separated the two when the mother attacked the baby's flipper. The keepers are now caring for the young sea lion in the animal health center. The cuddly pup is recovering well, growing strong on bottle-fed sea lion supplement milk.

It's hard to see how any sea lion (or human!) couldn't love this cuddly creature.
