Boston Med Students Host Free Health Clinics For Uninsured (VIDEO)

Medical students in the Boston area are gaining experience and helping their uninsured neighbors by hosting regular pop-up clinics to provide health care, free of charge.

The volunteers invite, assess and diagnose community members without insurance in the temporary clinic, housed in a church basement.

NBC's Nightly News profiles first-year Tufts students who are part of the Sharewood Project, a play on Robin Hood's famed residence of Sherwood Forest.
