Letterman Reveals How To Make Airport Security More Pleasant (VIDEO)

First Posted: 11/18/10 12:53 PM ET Updated: 05/25/11 07:15 PM ET

Everyone's talking this week about increased airport security regulations, specifically the use of full-body scanners and the alternative manual "pat-downs" that some find invasive. Last night on "The Late Show," David Letterman addressed these concerns with a few suggestions for the TSA on how to make the airport screening process more comfortable for everybody. You may not agree with Letterman's suggestions, but you have to admit: getting a $10 Shiatsu massage at the gate doesn't sound like such a bad idea.

Orlando airport Kicks out the TSA!

The scanner ridiculousness was the last straw, and apparently it can be done. Airports take notice: you have options.

Google "Deepak Chopra" + Body scanners. Deepak makes $ profit. He is the CEO.

And strangely, he's attacking Obama on this very site.

No 11 I think all men should take Viagra before flying, and opt for the pat down at security. A little surprise for the TSA!

I wouldn't be too excited about the privatization of airport security. It could lead to firms like Xe (formerly Blackwater) or Halliburton taking over. No telling how our privacy could be invaded with one of those corrupt, right-wing firms in charge. Also, judging from their ventures in Iraq and Afghanistan, these private firms would cost us far more, and be less effective, than a government agency.
