Stewart Takes On The Palin Family Media Circus (VIDEO)

Last night on "The Daily Show," Jon Stewart addressed all the recent headlines surrounding the Palin family. Aside from the premiere of "Sarah Palin's Alaska," Palin daughters Bristol and Willow have been in the news for their dancing and homophobic slurs, respectively.

Stewart doesn't know why someone would shoot their television because Bristol Palin moved on in "Dancing With The Stars" this week, or why national media outlets would care if 16-year-old Willow Palin used gay slurs on her Facebook page, but Sarah Palin's TLC reality show is definitely fair game. Clips from "Sarah Palin's Alaska" that show the former governor expressing fear and amazement at what seem to be normal outdoor Alaskan activities proved to Stewart that Palin really isn't the "pioneer woman she has so often told us she is."

"You've never done any of that s**t before!" Stewart exclaimed. "That'd be like me going 'Come see my New York' and then going 'Oh my God, who honked their horn?!'"

Much like Colbert did the night before last, Stewart decided to produce his own version of "Sarah Palin's Alaska," starring "Daily Show" correspondent Jason Jones and his hometown in New Jersey. "Jason Jones' Bayonne" takes a look inside Jones' life and the untamed beauty of a town surrounded by sewage treatment plants.
