Anil Potti, Duke Cancer Researcher Accused of Misconduct, Resigns

The Chronicle:

The Duke cancer researcher who has been under investigation for research misconduct since this summer has resigned.

Dr. Anil Potti stepped down from his positions at Duke's Institute for Genome Sciences and Policy and the School of Medicine Friday and took responsibility for the problems in his research, IGSP Director Huntington Willard wrote in an e-mail to IGSP staff. Potti had been on paid administrative leave since this summer.

Are we also going to call the doc who falsified the vaccination-causes-autism study (as reported on CNN today) "foreigner" and revoke his "visa" ? Or should we just treat him as one of our own since he is from the UK? Because HE is STILL in the US!

Hopefully the Visa we gave him as a foreigner of 'Exceptional Ability' was revoked & he is no longer in the US
