The only statement that would tick the GOP off more then this one is to find out that no one is going to vote for them next election.

About time!  Now we know exactly who's pushing to extend the Bush tax cuts for millionaires!

IRS line 72 = "amount you overpaid"
IRS line 73a = "amount of line 72 you want refunded to you"

The US government allows for voluntary contributions.

Oh, sure, but apparently only 40 millionaires would voluntarily contribute much. Why should contributions from the rich be voluntary, when we who work for our money are forced to pay?

I'll believe it when I see it - Was one of the 40 John Kerry? Has he moved his mega-million yacht to Mass. so he would have to pay the hundreds of thousands in taxes he has been avoiding?

You want to tax the mega- rich - try a flat rate without any deductions.

The wealthy could spend more than they do for the public benefit. How about adopting a
public school to upgrade? Do one every year. Collect them and compete with your friends
for the most schools helped. Instead of fighting about taxes, spend the money directly
where it will count the most. Be creative.

Would be wise to listen to their counsel......it's good for the middle class and good for American.

Neither our government nor our Corps.es will ever do the right thing if the People do not demand it. They only laugh well if you are going to just give us every last cent we're going to take it if we can. It's the oldest story in the books. The civilizations that fall are the ones where the People did not fight back or waited til it was too late by ignoring the dangers going on right under their noses.

Eliminate the bush tax cuts for the wealthy. Now! Eliminate the reagan tax cuts for the wealthy. Now. Drop the salary cap on social security withholding. Now! It's way past time. Way, way past time.

millionaires or billionaires are the only ones who have Obama's ear, just like the "haves and have mores' guy that occupied the white house. The poor and struggling Americans are good only for photo ops ... just like the last resident as well.
