the city of Vancouver is not an island. the city of Vancouver is NOT on Vancouver Island. and Montreal is 100000 X better than Vancouver

Of all the places on this list, Corfu is (probably) the most beautiful, at least to me personally (disclosure: I haven't been to at about half of the other shown cities, so my verdict is a bit flawed). But one important correction: Corfu Town is NOT, repeat: NOT an island-city. It is a large city (population count varies between 30,000 and 120,000 during the tourist season) that lies on a rather large - roughly four times the size of Washington DC - and decently populated island. To call Corfu an island-city would be like calling Honolulu an island-city because it lies on an island.
