Get your game face on, Denver. Black Friday is nearing. To help prepare you for the most intense shopping day of the year, here's a guide to goings-on in the Denver Metro area.

The first 300 people to storm Broomfield's Flatirons Crossing Mall in their pajamas at 5 a.m. get complimentary breakfast, live music, a free gift, savings guides and more.

Boulder's Twenty Ninth Street Mall is treating people to coffee, food and gift guides at 8 a.m. at Macy's Plaza, and the first 100 guests will get a free terracotta wine cooler from Arhaus Furniture. Then, at 5:30 p.m., Santa and a Tree lighting ceremony will be at Macy's Plaza with carolers, hot cocoa, roasted chestnuts, complimentary horse-drawn carriage rides and chocolate chip cookies.

Denver's Cherry Creek Mall will be open from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. Meanwhile the tree lighting ceremony kicks off at 5:30 p.m. with Santa Claus and a reindeer. It will feature warm cider, kettle corn, and Charles Dickens Carolers. Inside, the mall has put up a crystal palace for Santa to take requests from children.
