'Then I See His Penis Out!': Woman Berates Subway Flasher (EXPLICIT VIDEO)

The Huffington Post   Jonah Green First Posted: 11/22/10 05:13 PM ET Updated: 05/25/11 07:15 PM ET

It's a dark truth of the city: if you've lived in New York for more than a few years, and you're a woman, you have seen some guy flash you on the subway.

Usually the pervies do their thing and scurry away (except for this grand moment, when one was caught on camera) but HollabackNYC has a video of one woman who wouldn't let it go. "That's it!" she yells. "Oh you're getting fucking arrested. I'm not leaving your side. My plans are done for tonight."

Common sense is way too uncommon.

The man is not a flasher, he is a frotteur - he practices frottage: rubbing himself against another person for sexual release. In art an image developed by rubbing is frottage -- hence the name.

There's lots more about this story in the link , CBSNewYork got a exclusive interview with that lady.

The flasher was caught flashing another passenger after this episode, and is now being deported back to Mexico.

This gal gave the pervs exactly what they want: attention.

I cannot tell you how many times I've been confronted by flashers on the subway or in the movie theatre. When I was a young woman in the 70s in New York, here's I did: NOTHING.

I didn't move from my seat; I didn't go and make a girly scream: I ignored 'em. And, guess what: they stopped and put it away. They couldn't get a rise outta me, and they couldn't get a rise either.

Well we women don't respond to cat calls most often too. I see your point but has it stopped the perverts? No. I am thinking making them pay is a better way now.

He was arrested. Will serve 4 months in jail and they're considering deporting him. He has a long history of doing this. Unfortunately women backed down on the last minute, so the most he got was a fine.

Many women in NYC have had similar experiences, especially if they travel late at night.

Some creep flashed a high school girl on the subway a few years ago. She took a photo of him on her cell phone grinning at her while flashing her, and sent it to the NY Daily News. They ran it on the front page with his wang pixeled out. His momma must have been so proud of him.,

Even though this video has been all over cyberspace, NYC TV stations are blurring her face when they show it.

Yes, you didn't read the article. She recently asked that they identify her now, because she wants other women to realize that they can stand up to these creeps.

Nicely done! Most cases are not so extreme. But girls (and guys) let's discuss, what are the best ways to respond to cat calls? I am not talking about a passing compliment, but more sleazy, offensive ones that make us feel so bad. Women mostly ignore them, but what are other ways. Those men need to be taken down!

I say "Your Moma will roll over in her grave." I use the future tense -- even if she is still alive I am telling him that she has a long future of shame due to his behavior. I've never had a single guy not stop -- most register shock.

I had a friend who confronted a grouper on a Tokyo subway and got punched in the face for her trouble. And no one helped her or stopped her attacker. I admire this woman, but people in her situation best be careful that they not escalate the situation into something they can't handle on their own.

Good for Annie Jiang -- a 17 year old -- to take this to the police.

Daniel Barricella, 59, of Brooklyn, was charged with public lewdness, sex abuse and harassment.

it looks like a phony setup . . . fake footage . . . a couple of would be actors and a handy cameraperson . . . invented for YouTube or some other motive. Too many cameras clicking away . . .
