The first question's answer is wrong. Thanksgiving falls on the *fourth* Thursday in November, not the "last". If November begins on a Wednesday or Thursday in any given year, there will be *five* Thursdays, and that fifth Thursday will just be a regular day, not Thanksgiving.

The first question is wrong. Thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourth Thursday in November, which may not always be the last Thursday in the month. For example, if the first of November falls on a Thursday, the fourth Thursday will be the 22nd, but the last Thursday will be the 29th.
