Africa Women

Global Post:

Some refer to it as the “magic spice,” or “cheap high,” while others call it “Viagra for women.” Even packages of ground nutmeg, sold in Darajani, the main market in Stone Town, spell out nutmeg’s benefits — in clumsy in English — right on the label: “Nutmeg powder: This is better for drinks, cooking and for woman that given up strong desire for making or to fulfill their men.”

All that for less than a dollar a pop.

I cannot believe no one took the time to check out the information in this article. Viagra for women? Yeah, right! You'll know she's really turned on when she starts vomiting, seizing or having an irregular heart beat. And you'll have the best sex ever while driving her to the emergency room!

"Nutmeg only works as a sex-enhancer for women, Mohammed said. It isn’t recommended for men because it is too strong and, apparently, men do not need as much help stimulating their sexual desire...." he said.

Hmph! I'm pretty sure there are a few women here that would beg the differ, myself included! Not all women need an enhancer and some men do need help stimulating LOL!

It's actually very toxic to dogs and could kill them. Never give your dogs eggnog.

This has got to be the funniest line I've read all week!!:-)

“For most women, two nuts is more than they can handle.”

So.....what's up with the women that can handle more than two?

The recreational properties of nutmeg can take about four hours to take effect, and large enough doses have been reported to cause severe tiredness, uncontrollable and prolonged sleep coupled with dehydration. The effects have been known to last longer than 72 hours, depending on the size of the dose.

Isn't nutmeg an ingredient in pumpkin pie? Maybe we should extend Thanksgiving a couple extra days...

After this one article BigPharma is already looking for ways to patent nutmeg or order the FDA to start campaigning against it, as a prelude to taking it off market shelves.

Nutmeg is actually a powerful substance if properly prepared. As an intoxicant, its effects are listed in strength between mescaline and LSD. Again, though, there is more to it than just sprinkling it on food. It also lowers blood pressure, and can be used to relieve muscle tension. The problem, of course, is that if the FDA finds out, it will be banned, like so many other plants that offer something more than flavor.

I knew about the hallucinogenic properties, but I didn't know about the other benefits. I think I'll just stick with weed. I know how much of that I can handle. :)

yeah the amount needed to have a psychedelic experience on nutmeg is just under the amount of nutmeg needed to kill you.

better stick with the herb since no consumable amount could poison you.
