Family Opens Thrift Store To Give Back To Community Who Helped Them

When Cindy and Christian Johnson's 9-month-old son Kaleb was diagnosed with a life-threatening illness, their community rallied around them -- babysitting their other children and helping in other small ways to get the family by.

Kaleb is now 12 and exceeding all of his doctors' expectations.

To give back to the community who have supported them so much, the Johnsons have opened a thrift store, named after their son, to donate money to other families who have sick children, , WLBZ reports.

So far the shop has been a huge success, with car load after car load of donations pouring in on a daily basis.
