Stuart Scott's 'Function' Slip-Up Caught On Tape (VIDEO)

First Posted: 11/30/10 08:29 AM ET Updated: 05/25/11 07:15 PM ET

After San Francisco beat Arizona 27-6 on Monday Night Football, ESPN host Stuart Scott slipped up while talking about Cardinals quarterback Derek Anderson's postgame tirade. Scott attempted to say "bleep function," but accidentally used a different four-letter word that even made co-hosts Matt Millen and Steve Young laugh on the air. Scroll down to watch the video.

I believe Tony Kornheiser referred to this as "Schtuing it Up".

I think the news story about the fox news lady laughing about freezing heart attack victims was a bit more interesting. But overall, these stories make me think maybe I am broken.

I played this multiple times I still could not pick up what exactly he said instead of 'function'. I assume he pronounced function w/o the 'n'.

But it would have been helpful if HuffPo gave us a clue in their article. Someday the writer will also be over 60 like some in the audience and hearing loss will be all too normal.

Huh?? Was that supposed to be interesting? Geez, to find this on HuffPost is rather like returning to third grade humor. Oh, so very, very, I'm sure. *yawn*

Out of hours of inane trivial commentary about sports that gets aired each week, this caught your ear? Really? I suggest just putting the remote down, and going for a walk, or even eating dinner with your family if there isn;t an actual game on, instead of watching people talk about games.
