She paired a gray turtleneck with an argyle skirt, her over-the-knee boots and a camel colored coat. She also had a pair of leather gloves on hand.

Check out her ensemble and tell us what you think.

Quick Poll

Michelle's wintry mix:

LOVE it! All perfectly paired.

LEAVE it. Not into this look.

I feel bad for the American first ladies, it doesn't matter how smart and accomplished they are they are still judged by how they look. This is the last area of American society where it is okay to judge a woman by her clothes. I think if she was wearing a burlap bag she would be great because she understands the importance of education, and is a good mom.

Don't like the stiff, quilted skirt. The rest of the outfit's fine.

It seems to be based on an argyle pattern, and I seriously hate argyle. She wears it quite often, so I can see she does not agree! She must have been ecstatic to find it in a marerial other than knit. I bet the skirt quilted in a solid color would have been lovely, and seasonably wintry.

Great outfit that any woman in American could pull off successfully.

Oh, wow. She looks pretty severe in that last photo with the drawn eyebrows and the hair combed straight back. I think bangs and waves soften her look, and straighten those brows with a more natural, less penciled look. She can look great sometimes, but this is a bit harsh.

Not one of her better days, probably. Eyebrows are a pain to get just right, anyway.

Geesh, I had a big spot of gray by the time I was sixteen! Are you about Michelle's age?

Absolutely wonderful look on our First Lady.  The outfit is sophisticated, strong and elegant.  This is a great power look for Michelle Obama without being the traditional matchy-matchy suit.

I think Michelle Obama looks great. I also believe that winter styles will look fabulous on her, moreso that summer styles. I love the coat, the skirt, the boots, her hair for this occasion, her makeup, etc. This style is very flattering to her. The coat is my favorite.

Great coat.
