Litill terrariums -- handblown glass filled with sand, succulents and objects by a local gal in Brooklyn -- are plant porn for the home or office.

The holiday gift guide should be NO GIFTS and donate the money youd use on unwanted gifts to help the unemployed.

Who is with me on this? Forgo gifts this year and help someone you don't know. Let's teach our kids about the true meaning of christmas this year?

Many of us want to get a gift for a teacher. In these challenging times, when budget cuts force teachers to buy their own classroom supplies, a fruitcake or coffee mug may not be the most welcome choice. Instead, get them a Thank The Teacher Gift Card from http://ClassWish.org.TeacherGifts. Teachers can redeem them for the resources they need. They're even tax-deductible!

This is an unbelievably talented person with knowledge, creativity, and sensitivity to help cooks at all skill levels create healthier and more innovative foods--fast. You won't be sorry, people!

I'm dumbfounded that people, except for the rich, are even considering buying gifts this year. Those with children are an exception.
Salary increase statistics must be in regard to the rich as well as employment because I see no jobs of any long term value being created anywhere.
Is this all propaganda to make the middle class think that things are getting better when so many are still being laid off and are losing their homes????
