Mariano Rivera, Yankees Reportedly Agree To 2-Year Deal

Yankees Agree To Deal With All-Star Closer

Mariano Rivera will remain the Yankees' closer for two more seasons -- at least.

The legendary reliever will sign a two-year deal believed to be worth $30 million Friday, the New York Daily News reported Thursday night. That will be the first big-ticket item checked off on the Yankees' winter to-do list, and in much more low-key fashion than the Bombers' negotiations with Derek Jeter.
