Reese Witherspoon: Robert Pattinson Is 'Very, Very Handsome'

Reese Witherspoon spoke to 'USA Today' about her upcoming film, 'Water For Elephants,' and, among other things, gushed about her co-star, 'Twilight' actor Robert Pattinson.

"I'm not gonna lie. He's a very, very handsome man," she told the paper. "He's sweet and loving and has the nicest family. Kristen [Stewart, Pattinson's rumored beau] is really sweet, too. He's a very sensitive soul. He worked really hard. He looks great in the movie, too."

While Pattinson was easy on her eyes, things didn't go so smoothly while filming her new comedy, 'How Do You Know' - she suffered a black eye as she trained for a softball scene.

"I was just practicing at home with friends and stuff and I just, you know, throw to keep my arm in shape and stuff. You know how we do - we're professional athletes! Um, it's called keeping it warm!" Witherspon told Access Hollywood. "But I told my coach, I said, 'I got the ball in the eye' and she was like, 'Oh really? Who was wearing the glove?' I was like, 'Ugh, dude alright.' I expected a little sympathy."

At least her kids liked it. "They were there when I got it and I hit the ground - that freaked them out little bit, but then they thought it was cool," she remembered. "It's like I'm the only mom at school with a black eye!"
