Kim Kardashian Dating Kris Humphries?

UPDATE: PEOPLE confirmed that Kim Kardashian and Gabriel Aubry's short romance has ended.

"They still talk," a source told the site. "They were getting to know each other, but realized they might be better off just being friendly."

PREVIOUSLY:
Kim Kardashian is back playing the field... or, the court, to be exact. Rumored in November to be dating Halle Berry ex Gabriel Audry, Life & Style reports that Kardashian is now dating NJ Nets basketball player Kris Humphries.

"Kim likes him much more than Gabriel," and "insider" told Life & Style. "He's normal, so much fun and cute. He's perfect for what Kim wants right now, which is some fun dates and some fun times."

The two have been seen in the New York area a number of times. Kardashian watched Humphries' Nets play in Newark on November 29th; the pair were spotted at a bar in Hoboken on December 5th; and they dined at Nobu in New York City recently, as well.

So what happened to her last fling?

"Kim feels like Gabriel was just using her for her fame," the same insider said, adding that, at 34, Audry, "is older than Kim is looking for... so she's decided to stop seeing him."

Humphries joins the roster of athletes Kardashian has dated: she spent significant time with Reggie Bush of the New Orleans Saints, and this summer, spent time with Miles Austin of the Dallas Cowboys.
