Not really outside South Beach, which is the southern end of the island of Miami Beach. Coconut Grove is south of downtown Miami, on the mainland side. It is a beautiful area.

Nice pad. Too bad he doesn't have a NBA championship trophy or trophies to put inside considering he was a 2-time MVP, best defensive team for 2 seasons in a row, team with best record for 2 seasons in a row, and he had Shaq. But his team sucked though, right? Everybody was on the Lebron Flocka James bandwagon, he's the greatest, etc until he gets put out the playoffs. It was always his team sucked. GTFOH

I don't care if these guys make a gazillion dollars a year and buy million square foot homes.- just don't ask the tax payers to build new stadiums/arenas for them to play in. Big business sports should include the costs of a new stadium in their business plan and not try to put the tax payers on the hook for it.

This is one of the reasons we are falling apart as a society. Go ahead and act like it is not, doesn't change the fact that it is.

If the title was "Wall Street Executive's South Beach Home", the comments posted would have a much different tone.

Why? Excess is excess. Where is the outrage that he is profiting by making people pay higher ticket prices during a time when people are having extreme difficulties. Does he "deserve" the spoils any more than a highly talented trader?

That is a spectacular view of Biscayne Bay. There is truly something to be said about living on the water in Florida.

Now to the haters, get over it. The guy bought a home and I am sure he could care less if you all don't like it. You don't have to live there.

And finally to the "what about the homeless people in America" what does that have anything to do with him buying a home? He can afford it so why shouldn't he buy it? I don't know what philanthropies he gives to but at the same time why is he responsible for them. I feel for the homeless but that doesn't diminish his right to buy a home for whatever price tag is attached.

If you look at the majority of the posts here many people are making comments like "that house is so ugly" or "he has terrible taste." There are also quite a few comments along the lines of "he spent 9 mil on a house and there are so many homeless people in the country."
