Wikileaks

searchengineland.com:

Last weekend, rather than read stories about the US diplomatic cables that Wikileaks has released, I decided to read them directly myself. In doing so, I better understood why no one -- certainly not the US State Department -- is going to shove those cables back into the darkness.

Don't forget kids that patriotic outfit Amazon that bailed on hosting Wiki Leaks, will sell the first series to you for $23.94. That makes it commerce and that's A OK with Americans.

So I take it that you think that the US operates in a perfectly honourable way and the corruption and lies that Assange is exposing to the light of day is all made up stuff and/or not really that bad. Like the US tax dollars involvement in child sex trafficking? http://humantrafficking.change.org/blog/view/wikileaks_reveals_us_tax_dollars_fund_child_sex_slavery_in_afghanistan And let's not forget the video of the journalists (or was it UN workers) being mowed down by American military?http://www.antiwar.com/blog/2010/04/05/wikileaks-releases-video-of-us-choppers-slaying-reporters-civilians/

Personally, I think that it's high time that the US government is called to account for the multitude of abuses and deceit that it is party to. You want to pat yourself on the back for being a citizen of a democratic, freedom loving, compassionate country, then start acting like one. As it stands, America is behaving more along the lines of the old Russia with it's non-democratic, freedom killing and selfish KGB operatives.
