Jillian Michaels Leaving 'Biggest Loser,' Wants Kids

Jillian Michaels announced on Twitter Tuesday that she will be leaving the hit show, 'The Biggest Loser,' after this season, and on Wednesday, she gave the surprising reason why.

"Season 11 of Biggest Loser will be my last :) have to finish out my contract," she tweeted Tuesday, adding the next day that, "I want to take a year off TV and focus on becoming a mommy and doing more charity work."

In April, Michaels swore off pregnancy.

"I'm going to adopt. I can't handle doing that to my body," she told the Women's Health Magazine. "Also, when you rescue something, it's like rescuing a part of yourself."

She also tweeted on Wednesday that, "Shooting 'Losing It' also had big impact on me. Living with kids I saw first hand what I was missing."

Still, she has her reservations: one more Wednesday tweet revealed, "I haven't even met this little person & I'm already talking about my fear of messing them up in therapy."

Too everyone that is complaining about her comment about not wanting to get pregnant and ruin her body....what would you do if you made the kind of money this woman makes off her body alone. That's just the tip of the iceberg, we do not know all the personal reasons because she choose to share only that aspect. I commend her for adopting because there are so many children in this world that are born into bad situations that need that help and luckily there are people out there that feel adoption is the best avenue for them to become a parent. I know many people that have adopted along with giving birth and they never had any doubts. I have 5 children and 3 are my adopted step children....my kids are loved exactly the same and I would do it again and again.

Silly Jillian. She thinks the pregnancy is hard. Just in case no one told you Jillian, the pregnancy is the EASY part! When you're pregnant, people are nicer, kinder - they hold the door for you, smile at you, ask how you are and how's the pregnancy.

But once the baby is here, there's the diaper changing, poopy diapers, wet diapers, smelly diapers, leaks from diapers, spit up - on your clothes, the babies' clothes and everybody elses' clothes; no sleep, checking for allergies, carrying the baby bag that weighs 10 pounds and that's just the 1st month.

I hope she does too, I know that people have opinions of her saying she doesn't want to ruin her figure but if I made the kind of money she makes because of her body, I would be saying the same thing. Adopting a child is a special kind of bond that too many people take for granted. I legally adopted my 3 step children and have 2 biologically and I love all 5 the same, I know that there are kids out there that need someone as loving and grateful as Jillian will be.
