Miley Cyrus' Bong Fires Up Salvia Ban Movement

Miley Cyrus is getting ripped by the dude who tried, unsuccessfully, to ban salvia -- the hallucinogenic herb sources say Miley was smoking last month during her 18th birthday party.

Anthony Adams -- a former CA State Assemblyman -- tells TMZ it was irresponsible of Miley to smoke salvia, which he says can make "you do incredibly crazy things." Adams added, "Miley is a star and young kids are going to emulate her behavior."

The negative attention abuzz Salvia is very upsetting. Everyone should educate themselves on this drug before biasing against this perfectly safe, nonaddictive diterpenoid. It is not an analog of any other drug and shouldn't be compared so. Illegalizing it would be a another step back.

love hearing about the decline of our society. In the good old days you seem to yearn for, weed was grown and smoked by farmers for generations and legal. Not advocating drug use, just promoting leaving people the hell alone. Daily I hear complaining about govt. spending and yet people want to the same govt. to intervene in every facet of our lives, except religion of course. These laws everyone wants lead to enforcement and incarceration: which amazingly enough leads to big government. People are going to have sex, smoke weed, drink alcohol just like they always have. The only difference is there is a camera or cell phone to record it now. Maybe if we removed whatever is stuck our backsides and started enjoying life a little, maybe then we could stop worrying so much about what Myley Cyrus or anyone else is doing. And this big uproar about this really served it's cause, that is if it's cause was to triple the sales of salvia.

I will never understand how someone so ignorant has survived in the 21st century. Some people smoke things to get away. but do you really think miley is smoking salvia on her birthday to "get away"? no. you dont. and neither does anyone else. Shes just in a circle giggling with friends having a good time, and doing no harm to herself or anyone around her. Yes she is being a poor role model to all the 8 year olds who love her, but what she does on her own time is not america's business, and none of us have any business knowing about her smoking salvia in the first place. The person that should be blamed for every negative result of this video is the one who sold the video, and people like you, iuriggs6. So next time you feel like expressing your personal opinion, please do it more carefully.

You know, the more I think about it, the more I say, leave the girl alone. She deserves a life. She spent her younger years supporting her family and living up to the demands of Disney and millions of fans (sure, it made her rich) so give her a break. She seems to not be able to do anything right....ever. And I think she wants this for her career, anyway. she's fighting tooth and nail to distance herself from that Hannah Montana image.

She was specifically talking about 'tripping'. She was also talking about hallucinating. Hash and pot don't do that. Also, salvia starts taking effect instantly. Hash and pot do not.
