Before President Obama was sworn in, the GOTP needed you as "Their man of color". McCain chose Palin as his VP running mate to counterbalance Hillary. The RNC chose Steele to counterbalance President O. Both have outlived their perceived usefulness. I do believe that Word Salad Sarah is going to have a new campaign manager by the name of Michael Steele when she makes her 3rd party run for president with Beck(?) as her VP running mate (maybe Huckabee).
