SantaCon 2010: Hordes Of Drunk Santas Take Over New York (PHOTOS)

Every year, thousands of drunken Santas gather all over the world to roam the street and spread sloppy, merry cheer for SantaCon. This year in New York was no exception. Revelers dressed in their best Santa costumes gathered at 11AM in the East Village and from there took over the streets of New York. As Twitter user mikekarnj noted, "today's a good day to rob a bank."

Line of the day, from one of my kids: "Daddy, I didn't know Santa smoked."

Clearly a New Yorker, the hundreds of drunken Santas we passed didn't phase him.
