In the wake of Michael Steele's Monday night announcement that, after much speculation to the contrary, he will be seeking re-election to chair the Republican National Committee (RNC), a number of influential party leaders made it clear that they would be actively seeking an alternative.

Nobody would have to tell me twice that I am unwanted. I don't understand why anyone would put themselves through the wringer like Michael Steele is doing. Once peole make up their mind about you the chance that they will change their mind is miniscule.

Mr. Steele has learned from his masters, don't ever quit or resign, make them drag you out, and even then, you leave kicking and screaming!! Make the process as long and drawn out as possible. He has learned his lessons well!!

Something is fishy here. Wasn't Sarah supposed to fundraise for the RNC in exchange for them paying off her legal fees? The RNC should have made some money off her fundraising. Now I read that an outside group is raising money to get Sarah started towards running.
