TCF Bank Stadium Shoveled By Volunteers; Bears May Protest Monday Night's Game (VIDEO)

Hundreds have shown up at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis to help dig the frozen field out in preparation for Monday night's Bears-Vikings game, which was moved to the location following the collapse of the Metrodome's roof, last week.

However, though hundreds showed up as early as 6 a.m., many of the volunteers found themselves still in line at 9 a.m. By 10 a.m. police began turning away volunteers, even telling the 75 to 100 already in line to go home, according to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.

Many Bears players have voiced their concerns about playing on the recently snowed-over field, voicing concerns over traction and the hardness of the ground they may be playing on, reported NBC Sport's Pro Football Talk.

If the Bears do protest the game and the venue is changed, the game may very well be played at the Georgia Dome following the Saints-Falcons game, as ESPN is airing the rescheduled game after the original Monday night match-up.
