Watch Popcorn Pop In Slow Motion (VIDEO)

INCREDIBLE: Watch popcorn pop in slow motion

Admit it: At least one point in your life, you've wondered what it looks like when popcorn pops. Luckily, the folks over at Boing Boing are here to satisfy your curiosity. They've posted this incredibly cool video that shows kernels popping in slow motion--4,000 frames per second, to be exact. As the surprisingly theatrical narrator (bonus points for the British accent) so aptly puts it, "The individual kernels can be seen turning inside out as the heated moisture breaks the hard shell and the starchy endosperm unfurls in an edible spongy foam." Who knew?
