Gwyneth Paltrow: Husband Chris Martin Is A 'Genius' Actor

We know that Gwyneth Paltrow has the singing chops to portray a down-on-her-luck Nashville star in "Country Strong." But what MTV News didn't know was whether her husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, has what it takes to venture into the world of acting.

I actually like this couple because, for one, they are actually a couple (unlike the faux-Swift "relationships around my album releases"). Second, they are both really talented. As for the musings about careers, I'll be the first to admit, its not newsworthy. But I think Coldplay is a gifted group and that Paltrow is a versatile talent.

She already has one for "Shakespeare In Love". Studios usually push films and hope that everything about them gets nominated for Oscars so, it's pretty standard practice especially if there is someone like Paltrow staring in them.
