Kevin Alexander Arrested On Suspicion Of Misdemeanor Assault

ANOTHER Bronco Arrested

Denver Broncos linebacker Kevin Alexander was cut from the team Monday after being arrested on suspicion that he assaulted his girlfriend.

According to KDVR in Denver, police responded to a call at an apartment complex on the 16100 block of E. Easter Circle at about 10:00 AM Monday morning after a report that a man had assaulted his girlfriend at an apartment the night before. Alexander was arrested shortly before noon.

The Denver Post reports that the team cut Alexander later in the day, although a team spokesman says that the roster move had nothing to do with Alexander's legal troubles, and was a done to make room for a new player the team signed Monday.

Alexander, an undrafted rookie free agent out of Clemson, had played in eight games for the team and recorded four tackles.

Earlier this month, another Broncos rookie--cornerback Perrish Cox--was arrested on felony sexual assault charges.
