Parc national du Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, Canada

Gravel roads pass spectacular lakes, streams, rivers, and waterfalls tumbling down mountains. The maple forests in the province of Quebec's largest and oldest national park are among the finest in North America for viewing fall foliage. Prepare your eyes for a riot of yellows, green, oranges, and reds.

Planning: While the forest foliage is prettiest in fall, the park in open year-round. www.sepaq.com

Great and beautiful clicks.... I mean nature is beautiful we all know but scripting it into a frame is the magic called photography.

Thanks for the clicks and share.

Lowari Pass in Pakistan - beautiful and absolutely terrifying.

These are beautiful shots and absolutely wildest roads, although somebody forgot several sections of roads in the Andes, Himalayas, Karakorums and Hindu Kush mountain ranges.

I can't believe they don't have Yungas Road in Bolivia, affectionately known as the Road of Death.

One of the best is this Sri Lankan one. Very few that can even come close ot the danger and beauty on this path.

With all other good stuff the island has, this has become one of my best trips!!!

Oh, and Mosquito Pass, up over Leadville, Colorado, is a damn-near-puker, too.

I submit Elephant Hill (at the opening of the Needles District of Canyon Lands, Utah,) for this list.
Tough to hike. Even tougher to drive. I've seen people flip trucks and jeeps down this thing. No words for it. (Shakin' my head.)

Let's have a ten worst list for the most intrusive and objectionable ads on HuffPost. My first nominations are the current UPS ads for slowing up the site the most and the Bodega Venetta pocketbook ads for most in-your-face displays of vanity consumption in the midst of a recession.

Any other nominations?

I suggest the road from Manali, HP, India to Leh, Ladakh!! I haven't been on the one through Spiti but I've heard that it's a real hairraiser, too!!

Carmel Valley Land Rover Experience? Pleeeeez. I live in Carmel Valley and this is NOT one of the Wildest Roads in the World. Sounds like this was put together by a travel correspondent paid by the Travel Bureau.

Add to the list is the Shafer Trail, which cuts down along the face of tremendous caprock in Canyonlands National Park, Utah, to Moab. Definitely a heartstopper, and one of the most incredible. Red Mountain Pass is another that is close to my heart, as my great-grandfather, Otto Mears, was responsible for route that the Million Dollar Highway follows. He also built the original toll -road through Ophir Pass, that another poster mentioned. The San Juans offer some of the best spectacular scenery and a glimpse into the history of this region.

The Darien Gap in from Panama to Columbia should be at the top of that list.
